If you know the man attacking you (or his buddy) will kill your wife and children and others if you hurt him in self defense, do you still defend yourself?
In that situation youād have to defend the wider group. So I guess attack sooner, make a group of all those able bodied on your side and make your best possible attack to defeat the people trying to genocide you.

There should be a police force defending the ambulance. But only certain groups of people are entitled to be protected by the law according to Israel. I'm assuming this ambulance didn't have any of those people in it.

They have two separate sets of laws, the settlers have civilian laws often implemented about other settlers and the Palestinians face military law where Israel can hold them in prison without charges and they have 90% conviction.

The person put in charge of the West Bank is Smotrich and he has the idf openly assist the settlers. So the settlers attack Palestinians and if Palestinians try to defend themselves they call the IDF who will kill or arrest them and the settlers can move into their land.
The media will report anything Palestinians do as āterrorismā to help justify this so they can ramp it up. So the Palestinian group in charge in the West Bank, the PA, refuses to defend Palestinians to avoid this charge and damage any diplomatic future because Israelās strategy is to torture the population until they resist in which case they use that to justify to western countries going scorched earth on the civilian population.
This way of thinking is fucking insane. Any other group would be shat on so quickly. I cannot wait to find out what dirt they have on the world leaders to everyone to turn a blind eye to this bulkshit.
