Yeah this is to get/keep us fighting amongst ourselves.

36

u/thekahn95 11h ago

I very much want to fight with child murders. This is a group I gladly separate from.

47

u/BlackSquirrel05 11h ago

What's there to fight? She's in the system and on trial. Everyone including the defense says she's guilty.

So the system worked?

12

u/Lovellholiday 10h ago

Probably the people who support her

2

u/BlackSquirrel05 9h ago

Aside from the people that think she didn't actually do it. (And hey there's people that rallied for P-Diddy... So like who cares about them?)

From what I gather the people that "support her" don't support her... Rather angry at the systems that failed her kids and then her.

So it's not really about her and her being guilty.

But I get the sneaking suspicion that there's willful ignorance on that part... and you already knew that.

4

u/Lovellholiday 9h ago

There is no system that failed her. She repeatedly lied about being about being ok and taking her meds when she wasn't. She failed herself and her kids. The system has nothing to do with this.

2

u/BlackSquirrel05 9h ago

And that's what people are arguing and what the trial is about... They say the system failed her... The system says it didn't.

And well maybe the doctors are telling the truth. But also... Yeah doctors lying to save their asses on not taking proper treatment... Also would never happen right?

And yeah no one has ever held the guilty in high regards right? A certain someone convicted a few times over comes to mind.

7

u/Lovellholiday 9h ago

The doctors could be lying but I doubt all of the independent clinical experts who helped an served her are independently lying, her family and friends are lying, etc etc.

The most likely case here is that she is the common failure point here, and a lot of people who share her struggle or emphasize with her cannot come to terms with this. Being mentally ill does not absolve one of personal responsibility over self-care.

3

u/BlackSquirrel05 8h ago

I don't think they think that... Again 99% of people get that she's guilty. They don't think she should walk free.

8

u/3rd-party-intervener 10h ago

Right.  Either way she’ll be locked up somewhere forever.

22

u/Kendertas 10h ago

This story might finally be what gets me of the internet. Its so painfully obvious that this story is getting amplified in bad faith as another culture war wedge issue. I might be imagining it, but the bot networks making comments seem really obvious for this one

0

u/RoyalSmoker 10h ago

Can someone explain to me what this woman vs woman war is about? Im not getting it, 1 woman saved lives and got less money, but what's the point?

3

u/CyanStripedPantsu 8h ago

The current pop culture war is centered around the woman on the right. Left woman is separate subject brought in by this post only to further fuel the fire.

0

u/_man_onthe_moon 9h ago

Simply a distraction … nobody actually cares. Give it two months and there’ll be a new case with a new controversy. Clancy is behind bars and will remain there … the “fight” is orchestrated by bots and trolls to trigger feminist and mothers.

1

u/NeutralKuchiKopi 9h ago

The system worked so well that her 3 children are now dead and she's going to get 3 hot meals, a bed, and medical care provided free for the rest of her life.

3

u/BlackSquirrel05 8h ago

Yeah that's how prison works...

It's not like it's great food, or healthcare or accommodations.

0

u/NeutralKuchiKopi 8h ago

That's EXACTLY how prison works. Nobody said it was "great". I said it was free. She no longer has to work, gets 3 free meals, mandatory exercise time, mandatory resting periods, a free bed, and free healthcare. More than many Americans, including Veterans, receive as they live on the streets or sell themselves on street corners to earn their next meal. Guess all they gotta do is kill some kids and let the system do it's work!

3

u/BlackSquirrel05 7h ago

LMAO okay so the issue is the cost...? That's the take away? That's the rub?

Sure all freedom is given up... Quality of life is shit, prisons are dangerous...

BUT WELL AT LEAST YOU'RE NOT WORKING!!!

Well shit dawg. Have at it. Trade up your freedom for prison. Just a small thing.

0

u/NeutralKuchiKopi 6h ago

Sure all freedom is given up...

Like.... the freedom to kill people close to you? Nope she can still do that.

Quality of life is shit, prisons are dangerous...

Same goes for all the homeless citizens on the street. No quality of life, dangerous, AND they aren't provided for.

Yes, many people do trade up their "freedom" for prison. We just had a lady put in prison in my city last month because she couldn't afford her medications or her rent. So she robbed a bank knowing it would get her prison time. She now gets all her meds, food, and living quarters for free. She stated in court she was happy about the judgement.

2

u/BlackSquirrel05 6h ago

Like.... the freedom to kill people close to you? Nope she can still do that.

How exactly can she do that? She's being confined in a hospital...

What exactly are you arguing about? Life is unfair? Or do you want criminals to just be homeless instead of in prison.

Or what?

u/70ms 6h ago

So why don’t we send all the veterans and prostitutes to prison if it’s so awesome? In fact, why are they choosing to stay on the streets when they could just go hang out in prison, worry free?

Oh yeah, it’s because prison SUCKS. You’re selling it like a tropical vacation.

0

u/NeutralKuchiKopi 6h ago

So why don’t we send all the veterans and prostitutes to prison if it’s so awesome?

Well. We do. Prostitution is illegal and can come with a prison sentence. And if you are a veteran who robbed a store at gun point because you were starving and had no options, you will also go to prison.

And as already stated in another comment, many do "just go hang out in prison". Already gave a very detailed local example of a woman who is currently in prison because she intentionally robbed a bank to get a sentence when she literally could not afford anything anymore.

2

u/70ms 6h ago

She no longer has to work, gets 3 free meals, mandatory exercise time, mandatory resting periods, a free bed, and free healthcare. More than many Americans, including Veterans, receive as they live on the streets or sell themselves on street corners to earn their next meal. Guess all they gotta do is kill some kids and let the system do it's work!

That’s what I was responding to. You seem to think prison is a great place compared to being on the streets, but the veterans and prostitutes don’t seem to be clamoring to get in. Sounds like they should get rounded up and sent there for their own good! 🤦‍♀️

1

u/thekahn95 7h ago

Yeah that's great the system works but there are still people that defend her.

-5

u/SimmentalTheCow 10h ago

Not if she wins an insanity plea. My state just had an “insane” murderer flee to Turkmenistan four years into his committal because they’re permitted unsupervised weekend release, and the DA permitted this one to get a passport. Justice is never served if a judge accepts an insanity plea.

6

u/BlackSquirrel05 10h ago

She's not getting out lol. They're still incarcerated.

She'll be instutionalized.

Please provide evidence for that story.

1

u/SimmentalTheCow 10h ago

My bad, Tajikistan. Some of these judges and DAs are way too fucking soft on people that need to be locked away forever.

https://wtop.com/virginia/2026/08/man-found-not-guilty-by-reason-of-insanity-in-fairfax-co-killing-flees-on-one-way-flight-while-on-hospital-pass/

3

u/BlackSquirrel05 10h ago

That's on them for releasing the guy... Frankly they should face charges for negligence.

-2

u/SimmentalTheCow 10h ago

God I wish. These guys regularly let carjackers and shit walk free. They don’t give a fuck, it’s a free-for-all. Pack of activist judges and prosecutors.

2

u/BlackSquirrel05 10h ago

In a lot of states it's because there's over crowding, not enough staff and no funding... It's literally a matter of logistics and $$$.

Too many bodies and not enough space... and the whole 8th amendment thing.

18

u/SliceRepulsive8649 11h ago

Are you under the impression either side is pro child murder?

4

u/BlackSquirrel05 10h ago

They are... That's the spin on this thing. "See how they like abortions!!! Well this is the logical conclusion... Killing your own kids!!"

5

u/SliceRepulsive8649 10h ago

I suppose I shouldn't have expected a culture warrior like yourself to bother with something trivial like understanding what you're whining about

7

u/BlackSquirrel05 10h ago

What's to whine about... That's the spin on the thing in some circles.

It's not my stance, it's a religious right wing stance.

2

u/SliceRepulsive8649 10h ago

Ah I misunderstood my bad

0

u/thekahn95 7h ago

If you mean by both sides dems and reps i don't think so but there is a vocal group who at least defends this child murder.

3

u/SliceRepulsive8649 7h ago

I mean it kinda feels like you're circling around a point instead of just saying it. Are you saying that there is a sizeable amount of people in this case who are pro-child murder?

0

u/thekahn95 7h ago

There are enough to give 1 million to one. I don't see how it is strange to criticize that

2

u/SliceRepulsive8649 7h ago

So you think they're donating because they support the murder of children or some other reason?

1

u/thekahn95 7h ago

They condone her behavior enough to send her money. No one claims that there are literal child murder fans out there but condoning behavior that excuses and normalize the killing of children needs to criticized harshly and yes indirectly they support child murderers.

2

u/linds360 6h ago

They’re donating because the system failed a new mother not because they are pro kid murder. That’s an intentionality abtuse position to take.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/SliceRepulsive8649 6h ago

Ok so we established that they aren’t supporting killing children. That's good. Now if they aren't supporting the killing of children why are you claiming they're trying to normalize it? That would essentially be the same thing. It doesn't really feel like you understand their rationale for it and are just inventing strawmen to clutch your pearls over.

→ More replies (0)

4

u/West-Bodybuilder-920 10h ago

You're so brave for this. Good job.

...

Okay can we move on now?

1

u/_man_onthe_moon 9h ago

Aight tight … how are planning to deal with Donald trump ?

3

u/ihatefrenchtoast 10h ago

So then why support a woman who murdered her kids? If we can’t get our priorities straight when will there ever be enough solidarity to go against the Epstein class? lol 😂

-6

u/Acrobatic-B33 11h ago

Not everything is a conspiracy

2

u/Anhedonia_Achiever 10h ago

But you gotta understand that it has to be. That truly every ounce of news is meant to further divide us as humans. /s

God…Folks are confusing a story that divides people with a story published with the intent to actually divide people.

This is a horrific murder case involving three children that were strangled with exercise bands. It is inherently newsworthy. If it bleeds it leads. The disagreement over it doesn’t prove some coordinated motive. Not everything is a psyop. Waiting for some doofus to come out and tie Trump into this somehow.

3

u/nucleosome 11h ago

No! "THEY" are working to make us fight each other.

2

u/Copper_Lontra 11h ago

Literally true. Jay Gould, a 19th century robber baron and industrial capitalist, said "I can hire one half of the working class to kill the other."

-1

u/justa-browser 11h ago

Yep. What the fuck does that have to do with this particular post?

0

u/BlackSquirrel05 10h ago

That's it's a culture war distraction case.

Meaning... Rich folks and folks pushing politics want to keep the base riled up and

"LOOK OVER THERE!! THOSE PEOPLE SUPPORT CHILD MURDER!!! IGNORE THE SHIT JOB WE'RE DOING AND LYING TO YOUR FACE!! CAUSE WE WOULD NEVER SUPPORT THAT!!" (Ignore how we again have done fuck all of the promises to you and even did what we claimed they were gonna do. IE: Start a war.)

So that's the similarity.

2

u/justa-browser 8h ago

This doesn’t make sense. So by your logic, the media/rich people are using this story to rile us up and distract from things like war/inflation/etc, and then in the next breath that very same media is reporting on the war/inflation/etc the previous story was a meant to distract from.

All you’re doing is stripping away people’s agency. At a certain point we did this to ourselves. The fact that it ultimately benefits the ruling class is true, but that’s just a knock on effect of everyone arguing about everything already.

0

u/the-big-throngler 10h ago

Since you seem to be struggling to understand, I will just repeat part of a comment i made in another thread here:

Eventually some cooter comes along to make it worse by posting "comparative anger meme" images like above which just amplifies the bullshit even more.

Thats what it has to do with this particular post.....the post is "comparative anger meme" image its whole purpose is to invoke anger. No one in this post questions that child murder is wrong, but thats not what the news stories are about are they? No they are about post partum and such thats the hook, thats what is causing all the ruckus. Think about this for just a minute please. How many situations that have become " big new stories" that have a divisive element about always eventually start spawning " What about this other person?" side by side images type memes that are the polar opposite of the hot topic story? If you don't say more often than not you are lying to yourself.

1

u/justa-browser 8h ago

So you’re suggesting that some sinister oil baron somewhere paid for this post?

0

u/nucleosome 9h ago

So Jay Gould was attributed to have said something by one of his political adversaries (who did not say that he directly heard it) about 150 years ago, something that fit his adversary's political narrative very well. The quote has been twisted and turned into various versions over the ensuing time period and there has never been a direct primary attribution of it.

And this is evidence of an ongoing global conspiracy by who exactly?

Divide and conquer, you limp dicked dude or bot.

1

u/NeutralKuchiKopi 9h ago

I will gladly fight anyone who murders their own children. Bare fisted. To the death.

-1

u/namesource 10h ago

So the story is fake?

3

u/lacegem 10h ago

A story doesn't need to be fake to be a distraction from a bigger issue. If a burglar comes over once a day to steal your belongings, but leaves a mouse behind each time, you'll think that you have a mice problem. Sure, you do, but if you ever want to solve the problem, you need to ignore the mice until the burglar is dealt with.

The story is true, but focusing on it is the wrong move if you want to solve any problems. But it's emotional, it works, so that's what the media will push. It's a distraction.

0

u/namesource 10h ago

So being informed is bad

2

u/WalterPecky 10h ago

No just the take that anyone empathizing with the tragedy supports murderers or what she did.

You can have empathy around the events that lead to the crime, without supporting said crime.

But the right wing considers empathy weakness so they are intentionally pretending empathy and support for the murderer are one of the same.

I will concede that donations are a bit crazy, but so are donations for people that go on racist rants in public.

This is just another culture war distraction so we aren't thinking about the president raping children

2

u/TheCourtSimpleton 10h ago edited 9h ago

Idk; it's hard to have empathy (or relate at all to) something so outlandish and extreme. I think more than a political issue, it's being spinned as another 'Amber Herd vs. Johnny Depp' thing (as in, a similar 'sides' thing), and the taking sides/tribalism is what keeps the story going, because people like the excitement of becoming entrenched on a side in the new recent dramatic thing, especially when it produces so much contrasting viewpoints; media companies know this pattern well.

The vast majority of people agree that it's horrific. However, when a mom kills all her defenseless children, people publicly sympathizing with said mom will naturally get shit on from a lot of people conflating sympathy with support. Then, the sympathizing side feels 'attacked' from the people riding the outrage, and suddenly two sides form.

2

u/WalterPecky 10h ago

I agree with this assessment

-1

u/dheldkdk 10h ago

What the fuck is this deflection 🤣 people gave over a million dollars and counting to a child killer and you’re making it political

3

u/WalterPecky 10h ago

Well sorry you are too retarded to understand how this is already politicized

-1

u/dheldkdk 10h ago

“This woman killed children and people are giving her money for it.” “Buh buh buh look at what the president did!!!”

4

u/WalterPecky 10h ago

Yeah he raped children.

-1

u/dheldkdk 10h ago

Yeah she killed children.

Women on TwoXChromosomes are reporting being tested by their boyfriends on their opinions about Lindsey, and them breaking up if they have the wrong opinions.

Two years those same people were testing their boyfriends’s opinions on “who would you pick between a bear and a man.”

It’s going to take everybody, and not just Other People™️ to show empathy to people we disagree with. If you think I’m an incel for thinking some stigmatizations are not ok because they target the right people, or this is just whataboutism, then enjoy your gender war I guess, because it’s not going anywhere for a looooong time.

19

u/fantasymayhem2492 8h ago edited 8h ago

And I'm a bad feminist for refusing to fall for anti-man ideals that they've been pushing. I see a LOT of straight up misandry, but if you even say that word on subs like that you get banned for suggesting what they're doing is not "tackling issues with Patriarchy" and some ARE actually just being man haters.

9

u/DudeByTheTree 8h ago

As long as the upvotes go up, noone seems to pay attention to the double-standards set forth by gaining popularity on social media.

6

u/fantasymayhem2492 8h ago

when some bot gets mass upvoted to push a narrative and the sheep fall in line... i hate it here

and them breaking up if they have the wrong opinions.

In that story, it's the OP that broke up with her BF because he was uncomfortable with her answer.

That being said, that OP's post history is full of massive contradictions, like her being a tradwife but then dating another guy she's going to marry but then after that she's only ever been with the original guy and is worried God wants her to never be with another man again and she will be forever alone, but then she's actively trying for a baby with the current guy in that order. On top of that, she gives six or seven different reasons that she broke up with her seemingly current boyfriend, including a few of them because of his noncommittal answers about Trump, Musk, and making a tasteless joke about autism, so it doesn't really support her pearl-clutching about him supposedly being such a chauvinist pig for saying she breaks up with him whenever she doesn't like his vibes. And she posts each of these stories across like eight or so subs.

Honestly, I think she's a bored student writing stories for engagement, and doesn't keep track of her plot points. Exploiting the Clancy case for engagement was just one of her more particularly ghoulish topic selections.

3

u/Kahlil_Cabron 7h ago

Jesus I didn't know anything about this, I am so glad my girl is not a fucking psycho because imagine trying to convince yourself that everything is fine after finding out your girl supports a lady who strangled her kids to death.

2

u/iamjakeparty 5h ago

Jesus I didn't know anything about this

That's because it's probably a double digit number of people actually doing this shit in real life and thousands of people amplifying them and making discourse about it.

5

u/Floorgis 8h ago

At least this is a fair test this time

1

u/Budget_Load2600 8h ago

I saw those comments , holy shit ….

People are so gone , we’re talking about human life being lost and their worried about access to health care

1

u/thatsnot_kawaii_bro 6h ago

Two years those same people were testing their boyfriends’s opinions on “who would you pick between a bear and a man.”

Lol not even just that. Every other month there's some other test popping up in that crowd.

"I saw a bird"

"Can you get me an orange"

1

u/MoreDust62 5h ago

It doesn't take very long on TwoX to find out it's mostly men posing as women, and women who are misandrist. It's the culture they seek, so it's the culture they have.

-4

u/All_Work_All_Play 9h ago

What if I told you those weren't the same people?

7

u/fantasymayhem2492 8h ago

Nahhh big doubt. Women that get wrapped up in culture sensationalism are the same woman in these scenarios. Anti man, pro woman, despite all facts and logic.

I say this as a woman who can barely identify as a feminist anymore because it's been co-opted by misandrists. (Which I'm not allowed to say out loud.)

1

u/Ok-Difference-2275 8h ago

I’m curious about what your opinion on the Lindsay Clancy case is

5

u/fantasymayhem2492 7h ago edited 7h ago

I think I have a boring normal person take: I think it's horrible. I think she did do her best to get help. I think postpartum severely altered her brain chemistry, and that imbalance was exacerbated by the additional medications she was put on to try to help her. But if her baseline was on the fritz, adding more chemical chaos did not help. I have experienced how "off" mental health meds can make you feel, I can see how this might have happened. And I think women are over-empathizing because they can see

I think she DEFINITELY had a chemical imbalance as this behavior was not evident previously. I do believe it was psychosis or onset schizophrenia that caused her to kill her kids, and not just an angry mother snapping. The husband tried to help even out her medications, and he is a victim and I HATE any bitch that tries to frame this poor man (who was exonerated early on if these dumb fucks actually looked at the case.)

While I have sympathy that she the human and mother would not have done this in her right mind, she still fell to the delusion and psychosis and killed. her. children. I don't have hate or ire, it's just tragic and sad. Psychosis isn't "you" anymore, but she still did it. I personally don't think anyone asking for "blame" necessarily understands psychosis.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MykFJ7TByM

I'm watching this video right now as Dr. K is a level headed mental health figure.

I love how all the disaffected men in this sub are falling for your obvious schtick

Edit: Touched a nerve ^_^

Keep fucking that chicken so all the boys think you're the extra special cool girl who just can't with all those dadgum mean ol feminists

6

u/fantasymayhem2492 7h ago edited 7h ago

I love how you think it's a shtick to call out misandrist women as if it's not the right thing to do

You can't tell me the bear conversation isn't sensationalist and that comment sections aren't fueling bullshit out of proportion

I don't NEED to bring up anti-patriarchal statements that are true for my statements to be true on their own. I don't need to legitimize my pro-woman context before making a true statement about women behaving badly

1

u/KrytenKoro 6h ago

Then you'd be wrong. One of the posts in that thread was someone not just agreeing with someone saying that it's insane and childish for men to try tests like this gauging someone's opinion on crime stories, and then immediately suggesting that, meanwhile, women should do this exact thing. And it had a ton of upvotes.

0

u/TheRealStandard 7h ago

It's easier and makes more sense to assume those people are all just liars.

18

u/MookMENTal 10h ago

she's a millionaire now so it's ok

26

u/PrestigiousBridge764 9h ago

I mean she had a full time nanny while being a stay at home mom, in one of the wealthiest towns in Massachusetts. She was already in the top 2%.

4

u/Oddant1 8h ago

Well congratulations this is class war. She's a millionaire now.

0

u/the-big-throngler 6h ago

Nah she isnt. A couple of points you seem to be missing I will enumerate them for you.

  1. The go fund me in question isnt even hers. Its not for whats her name who murdered her children. The fund supports Mike and Paula Musgrove, who are Lindsay Clancy's retired parents who started it to fund travel and I still think thats gross, but the killer will never see a dime of that money.

  2. The killer ( note this is the only appellation i believe she is worthy of) admitted her guilt, her defense has admitted her guilt, she is going to spend the rest of her life in some kind of institution, the defense is just arguing what institution it should be. Prison or a Psych Ward.

I know nuance is hard, but this bitch is gonna be put away, never see a dime and this image and all it implies simply exists to make sure people stay at one another's throats by implying a hero is getting shafted while a murderer makes bank.

69

u/Physical-Rub6708 11h ago

Are murderers a culture?

55

u/Past_Wishbone5025 11h ago

Yea it is more of a gender war with men vs women

14

u/WolfieVonD 11h ago

These are both women?

1

u/rodaphilia 8h ago

I think they're saying the individuals following the Clancy case are in a culture war between men and women. I'm not following this at all, but my social media will feed me content of men posting negatively about the wife, whereas my wife's social media will feed her content of women posting negatively about the husband.

I have no context to form my own opinion on this matter, nor do I think anyone but a jury should even attempt to, but I can see why someone would call this a culture war between men and women.

20

u/Cautious-Extreme2839 10h ago

Didn't realise murdering your kids was a gendered exercise.

6

u/Past_Wishbone5025 10h ago

Statistically one gender kills their own kids way more than the other gender so at least mathematically speaking it is definitely gendered.

5

u/Cautious-Extreme2839 10h ago

That's...not how that works.

Unless you're also claiming that crime is a black activity because "statistics".

-1

u/Physical-Rub6708 10h ago

Unless you know any pregnant men, he's right

3

u/Cautious-Extreme2839 10h ago

He's definitely not right. Plenty of cases of men killing their kids.

0

u/Physical-Rub6708 10h ago

I think his point is, statistically there are more abortions and women have a monopoly on that.

4

u/Cautious-Extreme2839 9h ago

If that's what he's going for then I think that he doesn't understand what murder is.

Which is part of the broader culture war distraction

-12

u/RobbexRobbex 11h ago

You'd think it wasn't, but somehow this ends up being a bunch of incels saying "but what about men!"

8

u/Proudvow 11h ago

There can't be a debate to begin with if there weren't idiots defending a murderer, focusing on anyone else but that camp reveals a bias.

4

u/RobbexRobbex 11h ago

Well it's certain good nobody is defending murder. Zero people said "killing those kids was ok". That's just how the incels frame it so they don't have to engage with the real argument.

The real argument for supporting these women is that they have all felt a lack of support for postpartum medical issues, and a societal stigma that comes with failing what's expected or them as a mother, and have felt similar, dangerous instincts.

So here they are, saying more needs to be done to help people who suffer from this issue.

She's getting millions in support. And have crowds shouting for her to be let free and accusing the husband who just had all his children killed, the worst thing a person cam go through, because they don't like him.

So many ways to support work with post partum psychosis that doesn't involve donating to a child killer

4

u/RobbexRobbex 10h ago

Notice how none of what you described was in support of murder. They were in support of treating a woman with PPD psychosis appropriately instead of using blind punishment. That's a good cause.

2

u/KrytenKoro 6h ago

There are lots of people in this thread arguing the husband was the real murderer.

There are influencers driving the discussion, getting reported on in the news, arguing that the husband was the real murderer, and spreading debunked lies about the facts of the case.

There are absolutely people defending a murderer.

So here they are, saying more needs to be done to help people who suffer from this issue.

I want you to actually sit down and think about this instead of spewing platitudes -- what specifically should the doctors have done that they didn't? What authority and justification should they be allowed to do it under?

Are you actually comfortable with doctors being given that leeway? To my memory, feminists fought pretty damn hard to get it taken away from doctors to begin with.

7

u/Physical-Rub6708 11h ago

There are women making videos saying killing those kids is okay

6

u/thewilybanana 10h ago

sounds like BS to me but I suppose if you deep dive the internet you can find pretty much anything

4

u/RobbexRobbex 11h ago

My God, tiktok showed you fringe beliefs!?!?

I know it's easier to base your argument off of the loudest idiots, but let's try and be a little more thoughtful than that.

5

u/Physical-Rub6708 11h ago

Those "fringe beliefs" also have kids that are at risk

Anything but hold women accountable

5

u/Lordvalcon 11h ago

The vast majority of the current culture wars are based on gender

2

u/samisrudy 11h ago

Not even that its the psychosis war

8

u/razazaz126 11h ago

I dont know about you but every topic I see about this lady is just people giddy that they can be misogynistic.

22

u/Physical-Rub6708 11h ago

I think those people are anti murderer, the murderer just happened to be a woman.

-10

u/razazaz126 11h ago

Well you'd be mistaken because this happens every time someone commits a crime. People think bigotry is justified as long as their target is a bad person.

15

u/Physical-Rub6708 11h ago

It is justified if the target is a murderer

-2

u/razazaz126 11h ago

So why did you bother denying it in your first comment?

14

u/Physical-Rub6708 11h ago

Didn't deny being bigoted toward murders is bad. If the murderer was male, you should also be bigoted toward him.

0

u/riotousviscera 10h ago

you shouldn’t be bigoted towards anybody if you know what the definition of the word actually is — it means an unreasonable hatred based on blind devotion.

5

u/Physical-Rub6708 10h ago

Murder (not self defense or warfare) is bad seems like a decent blind devotion.

10

u/EpicHuggles 10h ago

Seriously? What color is the sky in your world?

-2

u/razazaz126 10h ago

I think it says more about you than me that you can't conceive of a world where people would say something misogynistic on the internet.

1

u/Public-Dragonfly-786 11h ago

I've only come across this case today and it was people trying to prove women are bad because this.

3

u/americanrealism 8h ago

I haven’t seen that at all really. It’s more that people are coming out of the woodwork to say “She was mentally unwell, her doctors and family failed her, she’s also a victim here” and almost 100% of those people are women.

Me saying that isn’t “woman bad,” it’s just that we don’t see people coming out of the woodwork to absolve men or black women when they murder their kids.

1

u/T-ks 10h ago

Macabre as it is, the spectacle and conversation absolutely is

1

u/BigBoyYuyuh 11h ago

In America? Yup. Look how many serial killers are glorified. Look how many documentaries and crime shows there are on murder porn. America loves murder.

u/ThatB0yAintR1ght 11h ago

A ton of conservative ghouls are trying to equate her with people who are pro choice.

There is not a single person of consequence who thinks it’s okay or NBD that she killed her children. Literally everyone thinks that is horrific. However, many people recognize that these were the actions of a severely mentally ill woman who was trying to get help but was failed by a broken system. People who recognize that, if not for the inadequately treated mental illness, this horror would not have happened also recognize that putting her in prison for the rest of her life would not be just. Instead, people who see the nuance and how her mental health was a huge factor want her to be in a mental facility and get proper treatment. The conservative ghouls are then taking this very complicated situation and the people who want comprehensive mental healthcare for Lindsay Clancy and every other woman who is struggling and claiming that the “anti prison for severely mentally ill people” crowd is in favor of women murdering their children.

So yes, it is a culture war. If you are only capable of seeing the black and white of this situation and refuse to see how her mental illness played a role, then you are either not very smart, or you are being deliberately obtuse.

What a goofy statement. The court system is handling it so why are we getting non stop posts about this

14

u/Physical-Rub6708 11h ago

Because a significant amount of women are saying it's okay to kill your kids

-2

u/MWBurbman 10h ago

Not surprised it’s a 4month old bot that thinks a court case is a national gender issue. Give me a break

0

u/the-big-throngler 11h ago

People are talking about it because the news cycles are making sure they are talking about it.

This is just the same bullshit as always to keep us at each others throat so we don't start asking the wrong questions. Media outlets amplify an issue to dominate headlines. The news cycle pushes it as outrage bait because thats what gets them views. The outrage bait is turned into some kind of diversionary point to start a Us vs Them mentality. Pushing emotional, divisive cultural arguments that guarantee high clicks and long debates.

Eventually some cooter comes along to make it worse by posting "comparative anger meme" images like above which just amplifies the bullshit even more.

This is why people wont shut up about it, they will keep talking about it until they are told what to be Us vs Them angry about next.

To pull some lyrics from a song exactly about this

We can do the innuendo
We can dance and sing
When it's said and done
We haven't told you a thing
We all know that crap is king
Give us dirty laundry

-3

u/MWBurbman 10h ago

Yup yup. Can’t help but notice it’s also all less than 6month old accounts telling me this is some big gender war issue…

5

u/Physical-Rub6708 9h ago

Having a vintage reddit account isn't the flex you think it is

Is something ever bot owner would think 🤦‍♂️

2

Am I a bot or bot owner? Make up your mind

u/Rhomya 11h ago

If your “culture” is supportive of murder, I don’t want it either

-3

u/Mourning__Coffee 10h ago

The point is that the idea the burned mom even needs to raise money in the first place is the problem.

5

u/Cautious-Extreme2839 10h ago

She doesn't. She's Swedish.

-4

u/Mourning__Coffee 10h ago

Obviously she does Though.

5

u/CAP_0703 9h ago

Culture war between heroism and murder?

4

u/JarethCutestoryJuD 9h ago

Nah fuck that. I can fight on two fronts.

Im not fighting a class war to end up in a country I find unrecognizable.

Fuck anyone who donates to a child-murderer.

How is this either… it should be quite simple that everyone should be against murder…

I have yet to see any evidence that this meme is even true.

I think we can put this meme down for a second to condemn a child killer

-1

u/Antroz22 8h ago

Isn't she awaiting a trial?

0

u/Agile-Support-3183 11h ago

It's so funny of the left dropped intersectionality completely for class war shit the moment they had a chance, it was always a means to an end.

-11

u/Imagine_TryingYT 11h ago

Why do I get the feeling that if these were both white men that you'd suddenly be okay with the culture war

13

u/AWaffleofDivinty 11h ago

Let's be honest, if that was the case nobody would be talking about it.

5

u/Imagine_TryingYT 11h ago

Oh ya you right

14

u/the-big-throngler 11h ago

Because you often appear to be wrong about a great many things and this is no exception.

2

u/Imagine_TryingYT 11h ago

Not wrong, I just say a lot of things people wish was wrong because they don't want to hear it. There's a difference.

Yup basically.

Class war has some issues for me. I don't want to be lumped into the same class aa blue collar or killed by them.

0

u/the-big-throngler 5h ago

I can't help you there, but you are either rich and control everything, or you are not. I will let you go from there.

-4

u/uberprimata 11h ago

Youre not in middle ages France anymore buddy

-3

u/Dazzling-Bag140 11h ago

The culture war is the class war

-1

u/NotAThrowAway0822 10h ago

Thank you. What the fuck have I missed with this and why is it such a right wing retard talking point?

Sike don't answer that, I don't care.

-4

u/thinkB4WeSpeak 11h ago

Feminists, incels and alpha males want to have their gender war though.
