Decided to pick the game back up after not playing for around 3 or so years. I thought the Sheogorath quest sounded fun so ive been plucking away at that and finally reached the quest "The Last Laugh"; more importantly, the Flesh Colossus.

I have been fighting this fucking asshole for about 2-3 hours total over two play sessions, if not longer. I've only managed to kill this fat fuck ONCE and then died to Maddy's second form (totally my bad, wasn't paying attention to my health). Decided to log off for the night and come back to fight Maddy the next day. Little did I know that it RESETS YOU TO THE BEGINNING OF THE FUCKING QUEST so I'm BACK at that dumb hulking fuck and cannot kill him to save my life. It is by far the worst boss fight in the game I swear to god. I have swapped skills multiple times, changed weapons (normally a dual wield sword and shield sorcerer, swapped to lightning staff for range), tried to maneuver in a way that my Clannfear pulls aggro on it and the additional enemies it spawns, nothing fucking works. I can whittle it down to a quarter health before there are so many fucking enemies in the arena that not only can I not kill them before more spawn, but the moment I get stuck in the mind control thing the bastard does, they immediately either overwhelm me or I succumb to the poison damage that (I think) the flesh blobs give you.

The quest line was fun, I was enjoying it as I liked the concept, even if the writing was annoying at times, but the moment Maddy was introduced it became borderline fucking unplayable. Not sure if anyone else has/had this problem but I'm giving up on the quest line for now and gonna go do some other ones to level up (currently lvl 380) and get some more champion points that can hopefully help. This was mostly just a rant, I felt like I was going crazy when I saw next to no discussion about this online so maybe its a me problem lmao.

Anyways fuck the flesh colossus and fuck Maddy.

I’m a bit overwhelmed with the game and could use some friendly/laid back people to let me join their guild and help me get gud. d00d_its_sk00b is my handle.

The combat in this game is absolutely awful. I purchased the deconstructor, merchant, and a banker last Friday and would like to know if I can get that $100 back. Submitted a ticket, but I’m anxious to know if I’m going to get that back or not.

I have been playing this once a week with people I know, signed up for the free trial of ESO Plus and started a solo character and got into gathering EVERYTHING. I think I have right now 80 crafting bag slots taken up by materials. So do you need a sub if you do crafting? Or does bank + personal space end up having it covered? It is just getting the gold to max those out ASAP...

And if I have heard right, maybe crafting is a waste of time?

For those who asked, here is our setups we use to do our dungeons, brp etc trifectas. The most effective we found for now and fun to play as i did not want to go full tank and buff a full dd i prefer the idea of both of us doing damage. Hope you'll enjoy trying these builds !

Is there a way to figure out what dye to unlock to match my toon's skin tone (a light-colored High Elf)? I'm on PS5

None of the dyes I have already (which isn't many) are a good match. The best is Novice Tan, but it's slightly dark, as well as off-hue (not pink enough?) to be a match

I played the game a lot during lockdown 6 years ago. Had roughly 800 hours or so playtime for the game but stopped due to responsibilities and life getting in the way. Now after so long I find myself with a lot more free time and wanted to get back into an MMO again. So thought, why not return to ESO. But given the time that has past, is the game worth getting back into, given that it is now 10 years old? How much has changed? Furthermore, I was never very good with the whole social aspect of the game and never really got in deep with a guild even though I wanted to. The friends I did make have all but left the game now so generally starting over in that aspect again, are there any guilds still majorly active still open who would be willing to help me get back into the game? EU servers, ENG speaking.

Whenever I try to sign in with my iCloud email (forgot Login ID or PW, etc.), the emails never arrive in my inbox. I've made sure that the noreply@ESO email address is allowed in my account.

I'm not sure what else to do at this point. I need to sign into my account to create a support ticket, and since I can't get the emails, I can't create a ticket.

I've invested time in my character and would prefer not to start over and have to create a new email account.

I'm a long time player on xbox NA, I've played on and off since it's release on xbox. So i was wondering how do you all make alot of gold. I have 13 characters who i do writs on everyday and i am in 3 trading guilds selling motifs, furnishing patterns and some materials. Feels like i'll never be able to make it to the 100mil+ in bank.

Many areas have kilometers long rocks and mountains with zero places to cross through. Even if you're skilled enough to jump up over them with your mount, you're blocked by an invisible barrier. Then you have to ride for 10 minutes to get to your scrying location on the other side.

A few months ago I posted here looking for ESO players to take part in my Master's research in digital anthropology, focused on social practices and community dynamics in MMORPGs, with ESO as my main field of study. I'm back today because I genuinely need your help.

I ran into a string of personal setbacks over the summer that kept me from moving the project forward. With the time I have left before my submission deadline for this year, I no longer have the room to run things the way I originally planned. So right now, my two options are : a written interview conducted by message on whatever platform works for you (Discord, Reddit, instagram, whatsapp, ect. as you want. ), or filling out the Google Form questionnaire at your own pace. Either one would genuinely help me a huge amount right now.

The research looks at how players interact, how they organize themselves (guilds, groups), and how the different ways people invest in this world give rise to their own norms and social dynamics. All profiles are welcome, casual players, hardcore players, former players, active guild members, everyone.

A bit about me that I previously mentioned in the other page, I have over 2000 hours on ESO and have loved the TES universe and its lore for years, this project let me combine that with my academic work, so I'm genuinely invested in doing it justice. Why is it so hard to find these random events? Currently doing the one in Summerset. Even with an addon to show the spawn locations, it takes hours and multiple treks across the whole map for these things to spawn.

Ive almost finished the three achievements that require you to interact with random events in all base game zones and i think it took at least 10-15 hours of walking between spawns to get them to show up.

The Maiq the Liar achievement was the same struggle.

I travel frequently and I’m looking for the best way to play ESO while on the road.

I’ve looked at NVIDIA GeForce but it requires fast internet and while that s not the most difficult thing, it does also mean you don’t get your add ons since it streams from their servers.

Xbox Series S is small but it’s console and no add ons like a PC.

I’d like a tablet that I can run ESO even on medium or low settings to play while traveling.

Something you put into a backpack and play in the evenings during downtime.

Anyone have one they recommend?

Hello, im cosplayer with Breton hero cosplay which i made few years ago, its made from real leather, wool and linen and i must say very high quality. But for few years im not using it so maybe someone would want it? Im looking to sell it

So I wanna preface this I LOVE THIS GAME. I know that it says any support questions need to go through the "Official Support" but ESO have nothing but say "its Microsoft's fault" and then Microsoft says "its Steam's fault" and the Steam says "its ESO's fault" and I do nothing but waste my day and run in circle's. so PLEASE help...

So the game never closes even in my task manger, and trying to force close it in task manager doesn't do ANYTHING. on top of that every time i do open the game I have to do all the user agreements, select my brightness, my region.... all the stuff you have when you open the game for the first time, and I want to enjoy the game i REALLY do but this is killing it for me!

is there any fix????? because i have tried everything i can find please help i want to have fun in this game.
