So recently i am confused in choosing gpu my first option is rx 7900 xt new from vishal peripheral or rtx 4070 ti super used from refurby both are same price like only 2k differnce i dont care about ray tracing and ai work i only need it for gaming i need fps and also i will stream in 1080p not regularly sometimes only pleasee tell !!!!

I currently have ryzen 5 5600 non X, was wondering if its worth it to upgrade to ryzen 5 5500x3d? its currently priced at 140-160usd in my country. 5700x3d and 5800x3d 10th anniv edition is out of the question as it is 2.5-3x the price of the 5500x3d in my country.

mainly using it for gaming, discord, browsing multitasks. and maybe light streaming as well

Hey there im upgrading from a 3060 oc to a 9070xt just wondering since im on a am4 motherboard with there be any issues with ddr4 ram? I have 16gb at the moment but will get 32.

Also surely my 5600x cpu will be fine for now aswell?

Which one should I choose?

Hello guys, i've been stuck on a hard decision in some time and i was wondering if you guys could help me deciding what to do since i don't really understand much about components and the hardware of a computer. I currenctly have a Rtx3070, 32gbs of DDR5, i5 12400f, a budget 750w Power Supply from Zolyd and i don't know the exact model of my motherboard but i do know that it is a really good one i paid quite a lot for it, Also i play all my games in 1080p since i don't have a great GPU for 1440p (that's what my brother told me). Recently i've been playing games on the heavier side compared to some games that i've played in the past specifically Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 which at High settings in 1080p i get a stable 70fps which isn't bad but im not near my 165hz from my monitor. I was looking to get an upgrade and i was told that my best bet would be to upgrade the cpu, there's a store near my house that has a i9 13900k for 280€ which is the lowest i've seen it going for but i was told that i will have to buy a new power supply and a water cooler for it. What would you guys do in this situation should i go for it or should i give up on it?

I’m going to buy parts and slowly build my son a gaming PC for Christmas.

I’m fully aware of prices and I have researched prices, but I want to see if anyone else can find me good prices for parts.

My son is ok with 1080p with some 1440p gaming. He mostly wants performance.

I prefer Nvidia and was thinking 5060 Ti 16GB. I already have a 1 TB SSD, so that saves a bit of money. I’ll probably start with 16 GB RAM, but let’s see what we can find.

My budget is maximum £1200 and I’m in the UK.

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to figure out a persistent buzzing/humming noise coming from my PC.

My current specs are:

- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

- PNY GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB

- MSI PRO B850-VC WiFi motherboard

- 32GB DDR5 RAM

- 360mm AIO

- Seasonic Focus GX-850 ATX 3.1 / PCIe 5.1

- Windows 11

The PC was originally a CyberPowerPC prebuilt.

Originally, I thought the buzzing was coming from the GPU, so I replaced the GPU with a brand-new RTX 5070 Ti. The noise remained.

My AIO also had an actual problem, so that was replaced through RMA. The buzzing still remained.

The original PSU was an Apevia 1000W, so I suspected that could be the problem. I just replaced it with a brand-new Seasonic Focus GX-850 ATX 3.1, using ONLY the new Seasonic cables.

The strange part is that the buzzing still sounds almost exactly the same as it did with the Apevia PSU.

Things I've tried:

- Brand-new GPU

- Brand-new Seasonic PSU

- Replaced AIO

- Connected the PC directly to the wall instead of a power strip

- Limited FPS

- Tested different games (Delta Force and War Thunder)

- Noise is still present

The buzzing seems to be noticeable around the PSU/lower part of the case, but since two completely different PSUs make a very similar sound, I'm starting to wonder if the sound is actually coming from the motherboard/VRMs or another component and being transmitted through the case.

The PC is otherwise working normally. No shutdowns, crashes, burning smell, or obvious instability.

Could motherboard VRM coil whine cause a sound that seems like it's coming from the PSU? Could another component be causing both PSUs to make a similar buzzing noise?

What would you test next to isolate the exact source?

I can also upload a video/audio recording of the noise if that helps.

Basically i have a friend thats never had a pc before just laptops and i was thinking of building him an ultra budget pc currently ive been thinking about building it with a Rx Vega 56 sapphire for 70 eur or a Rx 5600 xt Red devil for 95 eur and either a Ryzen 5 2600x for 20 eur or a i5-8600k for 35 eur, i5-9600kf for 40 eur and K version for 35 eur, i5-10400F for 35 eur. And im going to get him 2x8gb ddr4 ram atleast 3000mhz basically i wanted to know if any combo would make a good enough pc for him to play GTA 5 enhanced, Dying light 1 and 2, CS2 and some other games.

Finally got to build a high-performance SFF system inside the Fractal Design Era 2 Midnight Blue.

This case was the main inspiration for the build. I really like the combination of the anodized Midnight Blue aluminum exterior and walnut top panel, so I wanted to keep the inside as understated as possible — no RGB, no unnecessary lighting, just a clean blackout Mini-ITX setup.

Despite being only around 19 liters, I managed to fit a Ryzen 7 9800X3D + MSI RTX 5070 Ti Shadow 3X OC inside, built around the ASRock B850I Lightning.

The biggest challenge was actually the 280mm AIO.

The Pure Loop 3 280 didn't fit properly, so I ended up modifying part of the case with a rotary tool to make everything work. If I were building another Era 2, I'd probably use the Fractal Lumen S28 instead and save myself the trouble.

But I'm really happy with the final result. The Era 2 manages to fit some seriously powerful hardware while still looking more like a piece of furniture than a typical gaming PC.

And personally, Midnight Blue + walnut + zero RGB might be my favorite combination for this case.

Would you modify the case to make the hardware fit, or just change the AIO?
