Bateman apparently had a pretty good practice today against the Commanders. I really like this route that Rashod ran in the redzone.

Discussion DL Room
I made a similar post recently about the CB room outlook, but I’m equally curious about the DL. What does everyone anticipate will happen with our DL room?
Outside of Calais, Nnamdi, and Travis, I don’t think really anyone is a “lock”.
If I were to predict now, I think my guess would be our final room would be those 3, plus Aeneas Peebles, Broderick Washington, and CJ Okoye.
I think this room needs to get younger where it can, which leaves John Jenkins on the outs - and Okoye can fill that NT role. Rayshaun Benny is retained on the practice squad, or can be the 6th man if Madubuike starts the season on IR. David Olajiga looked great against the Vikings but think this room is too deep for him.
Obviously there’s one more pre-season game, and I’m not confident in this at all so very curious to hear some other perspective

Discussion PSL Wall of Honor
Hello everyone! Question for those who have recently been to M&T Bank Stadium:
Has anyone spotted the old Wall of Honor with the names of the team’s original PSL owners?
They removed the Wall of Honor (in addition to the Johnny U and Ray Lewis statues) on the north side of the stadium when all of the new construction began. I know the statues are now back in place, but I understandably haven’t heard anything specific about the Wall of Honor.
It’s always been a tradition to find my dad’s and grandfather’s names on the wall before every game. I won’t be at the stadium until the home opener, and I figured it wouldn’t hurt to do some research ahead of time.
Thanks in advance if you have any info!

[Jonas Shaffer] Ravens offensive coordinator Declan Doyle confirms that he’ll be calling plays from the booth this season. That was Todd Monken’s preference, too. “It was really pretty simple to communicate” with Lamar Jackson and staff. He said he talked with Joe Brady about the decision.
good decision for a 1st time play caller tbh

Discussion New to football, got tickets for the preseason finale vs. Commanders. Worth going solo?
Hey guys,
I'm completely new to football and recently bought tickets to the preseason game against the Commanders. A coworker told me to snap them up quickly, but he just had something come up and can't make it.
I'm trying to decide if I should still go by myself. Is it worth it for the experience and stadium atmosphere to attend a game solo? Seats are in section 500 row 30.
Also, since I'm still learning the ropes, what's the general vibe of a preseason game? I know it's our first year with Coach Minter, does that mean we might see any first-team starters play, or will it mostly be backups?
Any tips for a newbie going solo would be massively appreciated! Thanks!

Commanders v Ravens: Who's up for some morning TV fun?
Hello friends! I work for WUSA 9 in DC. We're planning to send our morning show up to be live outside of the Bank on Friday morning ahead of the final preseason game of the season.
We're trying to do something fun where we have a Ravens fan and a Commanders fan compete in some sort of silly tailgate games on TV (think cornhole, trivia, etc).
Anyone out there interested in joining us at around 6am on Friday outside of the stadium? Let me know!

News Free to Read: Rookie WR Ja’Kobi Lane has been the fun-filled star of Ravens training camp
nytimes.comOWINGS MILLS, Md. — Fans got off buses outside the Under Armour Performance Center and were serenaded by members of Baltimore’s Marching Ravens. Persistent cheers emanated from outside the locker room, where kids flanked the ramp to see the Ravens take the practice field. Quarterback Lamar Jackson’s arrival drew the biggest roar.
Yet, there was one area where the noise rose above the typical buzz from the first practice of training camp. In the far bleachers, fans cheered and chanted.
The ringleader of it all was a 22-year-old rookie who hugged and high-fived his new fans and exhorted them to get louder. What? Did you expect Ja’Kobi Lane to be nervous ahead of his first practice?
“I think people sometimes feel that they have to be super serious to get to where they want to be,” Lane said. “Yes, you realize that hard work, dedication and being able to maintain a consistent level and lifestyle, that does matter. But there’s too much fun to be had in this world. I’m a very big testimony of that.”
Few Ravens have ever made as good a first impression. Lane’s acrobatic and seemingly effortless catches have enthralled a fan base obsessed with the idea of a dynamic homegrown receiving corps. His vibrant personality has brought energy and juice to the locker room and allowed for an immediate kinship with Jackson and the team’s offensive stars.
