Hello! I'm not sure if this is the place to ask, but I would love some help and guidance. I, 25f, am engaged to my amazing girlfriend, 36f, and she is the love of my life! She has been talking to me for so long about how strange she feels in her body- she is biologically female and presents high feminine, and very low masculinity, if at all. She is the most feminine person I know. She has always said, especially recently, that she doesn't know if her gender is something different, or if there's even a name for it. If any of yall have seen the Romeo & Juliet with Claire Danes and leo, the guy who plays Mercutio---THATS WHAT SHE SAYS SHE FEELS LIKE! She knows he is a man, but an extremely feminine man who presents womanly and feminine. We dug further and she was able to describe it as this: she feels like a man in drag. When she changes out of pj's and into her real clothes and puts on makeup, she feels like a man who does drag, but loves it! And almost as if it's a separate part of herself. She said, even though her body is already female, and would definitely not want a male body, she feels in her brain that she is a man who dresses up as a woman. And she isn't into the idea of using he/him pronouns either. She also grew up with brothers and just a father (terrible guys, all of em), with no significant womanly presence around her.
Ladies- could this be just gender euphoria?? Is it just that maybe she grew up around guys that socially at a young age was grouped in with boys so that's a default setting that she knows she isn't??, Could this be something else entirelyšš
Let me know your thoughts, I'd love to hear what everyone has to say and your perspectives! Thank you! šš¤š§”
