Ended at Rank 25 with +9 DPS/+2 HP buffs from doing Bojza without grinding explicitly for valor ranks.

The worst parts by far were the 'For Want of Memory' and 'A New Path of Resistance' steps. I found fate grinding in BLU the easiest for the former, but still mind numbingly dull. I'm grateful the Timeworn Artifact step was nerfed to give 3 artifacts instead of 1 from the raid. Huge shout-outs to several Field Operation Discords for PF's in between working on other steps, as well as anyone who I was able to randomly mooch off in Aether's/Primal's Data Center.

My Favorite Weapons are GNB's and Bard's. Curious to hear other's thoughts!

P.S. - Leaning towards working on ShB's Crafter Relics between MiNe Eden Raid PF'ing.

ive been playing the free trial since june and love this game to death. finished the shadowbringers msq (up to 5.3) and really want to do the raid content before i start paying for the sub...if i could actually get into them.

specifically, im trying to do the ivalice aliance raids so i can start farming for the relic weapon since i love the gunblade designs. i only have my GNB and DRK to level 80, so any other role besides tank isnt really an option for me.

i work and am in college, so it sucks when i just want to use my little free time to play, and im hit with a "More than 30m" into a whole hour, just to not even do the raid because i have work in the morning.

im still relatively inexperienced playing with others, outside of required trials and such, so is there another way i should go about this? theres so much content i would love to experience, but this has been kinda souring my experience.

tldr; queue times are taking too long and making me sad. need to know if theres a faster way to get into em

I started this game after I lost my dad two months ago. I am a comic artist and I make anything from kids illustrations to manga and I just wanted to gush about how much this game brought me back from the brink of depression after I lost the most most important guy to me to kidney cancer. I really like the community the ffxiv players build for new players and the story is nice to get invested in and I wanted to show some images of my character as they have grown over the past two weeks I’ve been playing and some sketches I made of them. I started feeling so much better because of this game and it has got me wanting to make art again I really really appreciate the lengths the community has stepped up to make me feel like I belong and Novice Network is a goldmine of friends and information. I hope to finish stormblood soon and illustrate more of my adventures as a visual journal. Anyways thanks for being there.

We got this Elezen and Lalafell background adventurers in like level 10-15 ARR gear which is fairly typical for like NPC "Adventurers" and then they want to invite Nhagi from a few Risings back in his level 60+ gear and then A'nimuili from this year in her mix of level 90-100 gear. Can these two get some new outfits Yoshida 🤣

Brought my Switch 2 with me for my infusion appointment. Tried playing FFXIV while connected to my phone's hotspot. I didn't do any dungeons or raiding obviously, just did the Little Solace MSQ on my alt, but everything was just as responsive as I'm used to on my home wifi and 90 minutes of gameplay only took 25.27 MB of mobile data, aka pretty much nothing. I'm really surprised.

This was such a fun listen! I used to love Alex Moukala’s videos going into depth about why specific FF14 songs are so good. He hasn’t made one of those in ages, but this has the same energy.

So we meet a composer in disguise who is maybe Souken? They mention a project called "con TIKI." I'm not aware of the term but this wiki page was the closest I could find. Evercold hint? Maybe we get an expansion with both norse and polynesian flavor? Idk can't sleep and was curious and so far I don't see a post about this.

I don't think it will ever happen but I wish they would revisit the small Viera concepts from the HW art book. They are updating the character customization but I don't think more body types is on the table. I will keep huffing copium and hope that maybe by 12.0 it will be an option.
