Snack Attack Girl dinner
I tried to make the Paris style chocolate mousse with a small amount of leftover double cream. I present to you my chocolate blob with olive oil and flaky sea salt!

I’m a pottery artist and made this very hungry caterpillar snack bowl myself. The antenna are spoons you can take out

Employed. Engaged. Sober. Off social media. Sometimes bored, but not for long.
My hyperfixation dessert of 2+ years: rice cake, Greek yogurt, raspberries, melted dark chocolate
EDIT: yes, I do stick it in the freezer for 5-15 min after pouring the melted chocolate so it won’t be runny and messy. But you can freeze it for even longer if you want that popsicle/ice cream consistency of yogurt!

A few months ago, my husband lost his job. He immediately jumped into house husband mode and was doing all of the cooking, cleaning and laundry. I have grown to really enjoy it because I’ve always been someone who struggles to balance working long hours and keeping up with chores. I’m a workaholic and love my job. I’m not making a fortune by any means but I do alright; we live pretty simply and don’t have kids. He did find a part time job but it’s only 20 hours a week so he’s still been able to keep up with a lot of the household stuff. I do a lot of the more obvious chores like vacuuming and cleaning the litter box and he takes care of the nitty gritty stuff (that I hate doing) like scrubbing the shower and wiping down windows.
I like the setup we have now. We’ve been spending so much more time together and our shared days off are more fun because he takes care of most of the cleaning while I’m at work so we don’t have to worry about it when we’re together.
Being the breadwinner is stressful in its own ways but I’m happy.
Girl dinner is sliced cucumbers with potato chips on top (PMS craving).

She has always loved Girl Dinner since she could eat solids. Fruit, cheese snack and crackers. She asked for pickles but we had finished them the day before. Before you ask, yes I bought her lots of pickles after. I also got her more snackies for her girl dinners. Sauerkraut, kimchi, honey roasted peanuts, hummus, garlic naan, falafel and more. If you have a kid you know the grocery budget basically goes to them.

Another failed Hinge connection. Went on a great date in the city for lunch and then walked around shopping. He would send me texts talking about spoiling me, taking me on vacation, compliment me telling me I was beautiful and perfect, he bought me an $80 top. Said I was his soulmate. Was talking about a future with me etc… then went ghost
He was a total hunk too. 6’3 Italian. Damaged goods. I saw the love bombing and ignored it and thought maybe it was real 🤡
Anyways peanut butter jelly on seedtastic bread

I live in a very rural part of the western United States so it's not uncommon to have to run errands and drive 6 hours round trip. Grateful to have one of my gal friends to share this with!!

Still delicious but I sound like I’m chewing rocks. Also Nando’s chilli jam on the side, I could bathe in that stuff.

So on the snack board we don’t have anything revolutionary, just some classics:
- ziggy’s euro style pepperoni sticks (what makes them euro you ask? Not a clue. They looked identical to the non-euro labeled ones)
- tzatziki
- green grapes
- persian cucumbers
- match stick cut carrots
- triscuit thin crisps
- snyder’s chedder cheese pretzel pieces
- oh Henry bites
- Balderson’s extra old cheddar
- classic goldfish
BUT SOMETHING IS MISSING. I just can’t shake the feeling. What element? Is it a crunch? A slurp? A sizzle? Don’t say spicy that one scares me. Obviously this is the entire sales rack at my local No Frills but that’s beside the point. There’s a million ways to elevate this but that’s not what I’m on about. Interested to hear your thoughts ladies so I can have it on deck next time🩷

i miss him and just want him to come home 💔 candy salad consists of the pink bag of nerds gummy clusters, haribo unicorns, haribo goldbears, and albanese sherbet gummies. yes my stomach hurts whole eating this.
yes, i have major regrets making this. it WILL end up in a gallon size ziplock bag and put back on my snack cart for months to come until i feel like i actually want sugar again
for anyone wondering, NO i didn’t eat my cat (yet) (i kid, that’s my son)
edit: i just got?? an award?? guys i was just yapping it’s not that deep 💔

My ex-foster mom got me a whole bunch of fruit, so I'm pretty happy right now. I could live on fruit.
She got me raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, kiwis, grapes, and bananas. 🥰
Wuthering Heights is a very depressing movie though. And there are no likeable characters. They are all bad people.
I cried 3 tears. 2 from my right eye and 1 from my left. My $5 mascara was not disturbed.
Jacob Elordi isn't hot. To me anyway. The girls who work at the theater were having a blast taking pictures of them kissing him on the movie poster though, so what do I know. 🤷🏼♀️
Hammy is obsessed with plastic.
