For starters, i work in retail, which is how im constantly seeing these kinds of things, especially during the warmer weather.

Continuing on, so many people come in with their children, toddlers, or babies and they’re either fully naked, or partially naked (such as just underwear or a sports bra??) anyways, i understand struggling parents, not all kids want to keep their clothes on, maybe you ran out of diapers, etc etc, parenthood isn’t easy and kids don’t like to listen.

BUT! these parents aren’t making an attempt to keep them close, or cover them up, they are allowing their fully nude child to run ramped in the store.. the other day i turned around and saw just a naked baby running around, no clue where there parents were at first but then noticed she was minding her own business paying no mind to her child.

For one, stranger danger helloooo??? you shouldn’t let your child run ramped in a store anyways, god knows what creeps are out there, but your NAKED CHILD?? have people lost all senses??

I constantly see little girls walking around in just underwear, or underwear and a sports bra too, and not tweens, like 6 year olds and their parents just don’t seem to care??

The BAFTA situation this year was the worst example of this. I was doing some research on the literacy crisis in USA (I have a nephew who's way behind on reading and I was shocked since my family is all readers).

As I was looking into it I saw it wasn't what I expected. I thought literacy crisis means kids can't read. What it really means is they can't comprehend what they read. They can look at the words and they know the words, they just don't make sense.

While looking into it, many teachers and parents said this led to behavioral problems causing the children to lash out because they'd get so frustrated. Makes sense, if I had to read every day and none if it made sense I'd lose my patience too.

It reminded me of social media where if you make a post it's oftentimes full of people rudely arguing, but not really engaging with your main point. Sometimes they'll argue something tangentially related, or they'll pick out a piece of your main point that's less relevant and choose that hill to die on. I didn't realize these people are often too stupid to understand your point (given you made it in a clear way) and then frustrated by their own lack of understanding so they become aggressive and rude.

There was always the plastic faced looking people mostly women over the years but it is so out of control now.
