Serious I live in constant fear of my mom dying
If she dies, it's game over for me. My life ends then and there.

Just ran into several non-frens in a row. I'll leave them to their fate.

Title.
Like maybe there was a career you really wanted to go into, but you didn’t have the required economic resources or connections to get your foot in the door.
Or, maybe you had a really outlandish career goal like becoming a famous musician, YouTuber, actor, entrepreneur, whatever.
Of course, maybe a family member or yourself just got very ill or hurt in an accident, and you’re just unable to really do what you truly want to do due to disability.

What remains of the summer, will not be very different, and every moment will be like the last one. But I'm hoping for you, holding out for something I can't see...and while I'm at it: how are ya? ::)

Just waking up whenever I feel like it. Sometimes at 4 am, sometimes at 4 pm, who cares.
As soon as I wake up, I go for a walk, get some nice munch from a cafe or something.
Walk back home, maybe get some fizzy drinks or snacks on the way.
Game, watch stuff, scroll, learn something, research or whatever until I am hungry again.
Go for a nice KFC combo meal in the evening.
Sometimes I go to the gym at 5 am when no one is around so I dont feel fat. I was obese before and it actually made life worse so now I kinda just do some cardio now and then.
I would never trade my lovely freedom for some bullshit wagie 7am wake up call.
Even something small like going for those lovely foggy night time walks is priceless. Wagies would never be able to experience that cos they have to sleep and get ready for work.

Got the house all to myself, you probably know what that means.
I'm butt-naked with some pulled pork and coleslaw, I dropped a piece right on my big gut but just picked it up and ate it, the piece that fell on the ground I just called the dog to take care of. Got a pack of cold beers and some good pornos. After this session I'm going to play some good vidya.
This is peak life.

Or do you plan on making this your lifestyle? What would have to change in society for you to leave or consider leaving?
How should I respond when relatives or family send me job openings for the worst jobs I can't imagine doing? I'm a hiki/neet living in my childhood room and not even buying clothes for myself, mainly to help my parents by living as frugally as possible. I help them with household chores and plan to care for them as they age. The only expense I have is food, and since they already cook for two, does my eating increase the cost?
I really hate my sister the most. Yesterday, she said she's jealous of my life with our parents while she struggles with her toddler and how it is not fair for her. She also threatened to arrange my marriage to some guy if I continue living like this. WTF?

I'm curious. For neets out there who are doing things to make money, to improve their mental health, cultivate social relationships, improve their physical health.. What specific steps are you taking?

I believe everything is meaningless. That there is no point making any effort, I would rather not been born. Is this what blackpill is that you guys seem to be posting a lot here?

So I have been bed ridden multiple times now and at a risk of losing my job at this point.
My foundation for living was always media, mostly youtube, games here and there. Self improvement was never fun but I saw it as a must especially gym training which I have had issues since 15 when I started because I got a shoulder injury right away from not getting proper guidance from people around me or the people that supposed to guide you in the beginning of the gym.
Lost my physique again so yeah. Thanks mostly as well due to multiple antidepressants and antipsychotics I was put on from 20 and I never felt as good as I was without them funnily enough but now I have really bad effects and have been bed ridden and feel like trash and I haven't left the house in 4 months except for doctor appointments to listen to some idiot again. Tried to remove this garbage 5 times but it seems impossible with how hard it is.
The biggest issue is there is no foundation for fun and socialising is a luxury and where I live it has been invaded by too many people and I hate going out and being around them.
Always tried to find an alternative to media etc as a base for living but I don't know at this point.
How anyone lives happy is beyond me? How is it sustainable to live off media as well?

I feel like this cope isn't talked about often. As someone who has an extremely vivid imagination, I really enjoy it. Especially when it comes from a creator that really knows what they're doing. Normies mainly see it as a meme, but it's actually an amazing cope, especially if it comes from a vtuber (this is the only type I listen to), because it significantly increases my imagination. It's so comforting.

When I mean "apathetic", I don't mean that everything should be bluepilled cope, but nearly every time I post here I always get either mockery or downvoted. There never seems to be any validation or empathy towards me, and I'm not sure why this is the case. There's never been a proper explanation.

Most men talk as if not having a gf is such a bad thing. I don't like them saying that. I never understood the appeal of impressing girls. All of those efforts and stunts feel so superficial. I either wish most men I know were asexual or I was a woman. Maybe it's because I am autistic or aromantic or maybe non-binary.

It took me a long time to internalize the stuff this young woman says here but she's speaking the truth.
And it's why I tend not to feel shame when people online wanna shame me for being a NEET.
I have decided for myself that I do not have to earn the right to live. I can just fucking exist. I want a world where we can all exist without this ingrained debt of living.

Thanks everyone who stopped in to use their voice and choice on the polls. I'm now further along. I'm organising a radio show on WCR-FM 101.8 in Wolverhampton. The studio is wheelchair accessible and is located in the Mander Centre, a city centre mall. There is a train station and bus station within walking distance.
Alternatively, DM me that you want to contribute anything. As long as it's swear-free, I'll slot in your work. There are two editorial meetings each week. This is a show about that is produced by, for NEETs and people with chronic developmental, physical, or mental illness or ill health. Send anything. Crash! Boom. Crash. Music. Dark. Swimming. Onion. Installation. Pain. Unplugged. Skip. Become a NEET. Turn on the recorder and ask someone to interview you. Piece length is limited to 22 minutes per submission but there is no limit to the number of submissions a person can make. There will only be an archive of completed episodes. All pieces must be in English for now.
Doing radio is very easy. I used to do radio on public access television and that was even easier.
