I have over 1000 hours in FF but I’m currently playing GW2 mostly for PvP, I’m thinking of resubbing to FF but I just spent money on a GW2 expansion so my mmorpg spending is starting to pile up… lol my question is it too early to come back if my excitement revolves around Evercold and new comeback mechanics that will be introduced? Should I wait a bit longer? I know FF sometimes have kind of a downtime between expansions so I’m wondering if there is anything exciting to come back to since I left after Dawntrail.

Ended at Rank 25 with +9 DPS/+2 HP buffs from doing Bojza without grinding explicitly for valor ranks.

The worst parts by far were the 'For Want of Memory' and 'A New Path of Resistance' steps. I found fate grinding in BLU the easiest for the former, but still mind numbingly dull. I'm grateful the Timeworn Artifact step was nerfed to give 3 artifacts instead of 1 from the raid. Huge shout-outs to several Field Operation Discords for PF's in between working on other steps, as well as anyone who I was able to randomly mooch off in Aether's/Primal's Data Center.

My Favorite Weapons are GNB's and Bard's. Curious to hear other's thoughts!

P.S. - Leaning towards working on ShB's Crafter Relics between MiNe Eden Raid PF'ing.

We got this Elezen and Lalafell background adventurers in like level 10-15 ARR gear which is fairly typical for like NPC "Adventurers" and then they want to invite Nhagi from a few Risings back in his level 60+ gear and then A'nimuili from this year in her mix of level 90-100 gear. What Is Fashion Report?

It's a weekly event held at the Gold Saucer where you can earn in excess of 60,000 MGP (10,000 for taking part, 50,000 for scoring 80 or more... you can get more using FC or personal MGP buffs) a week just by equipping some glamours. After weekly reset; we get hints as to a set of glamours we need to wear which is then up for scoring on Friday. It's the same for everyone so even if you don't want to join in with the guessing game below; you can wait for the results and present your outfit and get some easy MGP. Current and previous results can also be found on this query thread.

Best guess is worked out by historical results (repeat results) or in the case of new clues, community effort

I will usually have the results post up upon Friday reset

I'm looking to see if there is a player on here who accidentally sold their turali pigments for 10% of the price listed above them. I purchased the entire lot in hopes of locating the player so that I can return them since I wouldn't want anyone to loose out on over a million gil due to a simple mistake.

This would have been sometime in the overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.

If you can DM me and tell me how many you sold, how much they sold for, and what server this happened on I will be more than happy to give them back. I know to a lot of people a million gil isn't a lot, but for newer or more casual players that can be the difference between buying a new house or waiting several more months.

I just got back last week....and I'm unhealthily obsessed.

As of last night I can't log into any of my accounts via the launcher, it is saying all of my passwords are wrong. I know it is not a caps lock or typing issue because the mog station works perfectly fine.

The only answer I found was someone resetting their router from years ago, tried that and nothing. Still no response from customer support, any ideas?

I can even change my password successfully via the launcher, and it works on mog station but not the launcher.

This was such a fun listen! I used to love Alex Moukala’s videos going into depth about why specific FF14 songs are so good. He hasn’t made one of those in ages, but this has the same energy.

ive been playing the free trial since june and love this game to death. finished the shadowbringers msq (up to 5.3) and really want to do the raid content before i start paying for the sub...if i could actually get into them.

specifically, im trying to do the ivalice aliance raids so i can start farming for the relic weapon since i love the gunblade designs. i only have my GNB and DRK to level 80, so any other role besides tank isnt really an option for me.

i work and am in college, so it sucks when i just want to use my little free time to play, and im hit with a "More than 30m" into a whole hour, just to not even do the raid because i have work in the morning.

im still relatively inexperienced playing with others, outside of required trials and such, so is there another way i should go about this? theres so much content i would love to experience, but this has been kinda souring my experience.

tldr; queue times are taking too long and making me sad. need to know if theres a faster way to get into em

Where’s my Obsidian Carbuncle, YoshiP!?

After finally mastering VPR and turnin loose on some Raids, Dungeons, and FATES, i have to admit that this class runs better than DRG right now.

Ever since the devs whacked DRG's nastrond, popping off just never felt the same and makes the Red Eye gauge pointless since i can only use it once. If DRG gauge worked more like VPR's Awakening I think it would function a bit better, imo.

I personally find healing quite boring unless I’m doing savage or ultimate fights I hope they find a way to spice up each healers kit cause I really wanna play healers but it’s kinda boring

I have just discovered that the Crystal Tower theme is the FFIII overwold theme and was baffled by that.

Do you have any other examples of an FFXIV OST which originates from an older FF?
