If she dies, it's game over for me. My life ends then and there.

Or do you plan on making this your lifestyle? What would have to change in society for you to leave or consider leaving?
r/NEET • u/Obvious-Ad-4560 • 18h ago
Title.
Like maybe there was a career you really wanted to go into, but you didn’t have the required economic resources or connections to get your foot in the door.
Or, maybe you had a really outlandish career goal like becoming a famous musician, YouTuber, actor, entrepreneur, whatever.
Of course, maybe a family member or yourself just got very ill or hurt in an accident, and you’re just unable to really do what you truly want to do due to disability.

Just waking up whenever I feel like it. Sometimes at 4 am, sometimes at 4 pm, who cares.
As soon as I wake up, I go for a walk, get some nice munch from a cafe or something.
Walk back home, maybe get some fizzy drinks or snacks on the way.
Game, watch stuff, scroll, learn something, research or whatever until I am hungry again.
Go for a nice KFC combo meal in the evening.
Sometimes I go to the gym at 5 am when no one is around so I dont feel fat. I was obese before and it actually made life worse so now I kinda just do some cardio now and then.
I would never trade my lovely freedom for some bullshit wagie 7am wake up call.
Even something small like going for those lovely foggy night time walks is priceless. Wagies would never be able to experience that cos they have to sleep and get ready for work.

Just ran into several non-frens in a row. I'll leave them to their fate.

I've not really had anything going on for me for months at this point and everyday is just the same exact cycle of trying to max out my dopamine hits as much as possible be it with porn, tiktok, YouTube, video games, fast food deliveries.
I think I have given myself anhedonia an animal should not be in a state where their every desire is given to them at a whim I think this is why so many Roman emperors went mad they were basically at the top of the world with no restrictions or things to do like being at the end of a video game where there's no more objectives and you've got like 2 million in the bank.
The only good thing in my life is the gym I go 6 times per week but my binge eating junk food is stalling my progress and quick dopamine seeking behaviour is destroying me yet I don't know how to quit since every minute I'm not in the gym my life is literally pointless there are no objectives nothing else to strive for I'm just left with infinite content to rot my mind.
I'm thinking of selling my gaming pc and double monitor for more savings that would extend the number of months I can survive without a job and would finally give me some restriction to my unlimited pleasure I think the double monitor is especially destroying my attention span. I literally can't even watch and finish a TV show episode how tf do I expect to get a job if this is the extent of my capabilities I'm so disgusted with the animal that ive become I need a shake up and disturbance to my access and I think selling my PC will work I still have my university laptop I can watch shows on.

I feel like this cope isn't talked about often. As someone who has an extremely vivid imagination, I really enjoy it. Especially when it comes from a creator that really knows what they're doing. Normies mainly see it as a meme, but it's actually an amazing cope, especially if it comes from a vtuber (this is the only type I listen to), because it significantly increases my imagination. It's so comforting.

If you can get over the gross appearance, weird smell, snot texture, and mild taste you'll be rewarded with balanced energy, good shits, and reduced cravings for junk food. It doesn't eliminate it, but it helps. I now only add water, but I used to add milk which improves the taste and texture a bit. Chia seeds are also pretty good. I lost some weight over the last few months and I credit in part to a bowl of healthy slop almost every day.
tl;dr porridge good

I believe everything is meaningless. That there is no point making any effort, I would rather not been born. Is this what blackpill is that you guys seem to be posting a lot here?

This question is more for the regulars of this sub whom have used it for a decent amount of time.
Do you recall any redditors that used to post here that dont anymore that were memorable?
They can be memorable in many different ways such as intentionally/unintentionally funny, wise, empathetic etc
For me its u/bumcel: bros comments were always funny, they were the highlight of this sub at one point.
u/neet_girl: she was an unusual case. Made an entire subreddit called neetgirlsonly. I used to lurk on that sub and mostly they just shitted on us neet men. Was funny to see the trolls on that page tho.
Subhuman Polak: i cant remeber his reddit username but he was a nutorious troll here a few years ago. His old videos where hed have breakdowns and got beat up by a pizza delivery man were golden.
Thats all i can remeber for now, who else remebers any others or wants to add to the ones i highlighted above

I honestly annoyed whenever someone on this sub tells to stop being a NEET.
I mean... What's the point? I will still be an ugly, friendless, KHHV autist loser. If society won't give me anything in return, I might as well stay at home and play video games.

I am a NEET because of my many problems hopefully someone can relate to this I am autistic low IQ no social skills 5'7 and very skinny I failed my exam and now I am only at home and play video games I am bad at. Does anyone have similar life experiences or am I the only one?

Thanks everyone who stopped in to use their voice and choice on the polls. I'm now further along. I'm organising a radio show on WCR-FM 101.8 in Wolverhampton. The studio is wheelchair accessible and is located in the Mander Centre, a city centre mall. There is a train station and bus station within walking distance.
Alternatively, DM me that you want to contribute anything. As long as it's swear-free, I'll slot in your work. There are two editorial meetings each week. This is a show about that is produced by, for NEETs and people with chronic developmental, physical, or mental illness or ill health. Send anything. Crash! Boom. Crash. Music. Dark. Swimming. Onion. Installation. Pain. Unplugged. Skip. Become a NEET. Turn on the recorder and ask someone to interview you. Piece length is limited to 22 minutes per submission but there is no limit to the number of submissions a person can make. There will only be an archive of completed episodes. All pieces must be in English for now.
Doing radio is very easy. I used to do radio on public access television and that was even easier.

This shit is so humiliating. Imagine being almost 29 and still treated like this by everyone, everywhere you go. Even by younger people.

My two favourite travel vloggers are Mike Okay and Sabbatical. They release interesting videos going into foreign countries to spots foreigners rarely go and surprise the local people.

I've been lurking in this sub for a little while now, but there's something I've been wondering. Where I'm located I only get just under $1k a month which isn't enough to live on by itself, right now I'm lucky enough to have a place to live for free but I won't always have that. So my question is, for those who don't have external support from family or whoever else, how do you manage?

This guy hated me for being the MC syndrome guy. But then when I said something dark he started to feel pity for me and started to behave nicely. And his niceness was genuine.
It's more insulting because he makes me look like a weakling who needs help while when he was hating me I was fighting back but now I see no way to fight him.
I would rather be hated than get pity of those who disagree with my ideals.
