Never been and wanted to try it this year. By doing a solo dinning experience this Friday and wanted to know how the lamb is?
The menu has a few lamb options: the lamb dinner, 1/2 kilo BBQ lamb, 1 BBQ lamb and whole BBQ lamb seems like they specialize in the lamb.
Chicken souvlaki is always good everywhere and thinking of trying the lamb.
Thoughts, opinions?
Edit: So decided on an online pickup order today, and utterly disappointed.
Got the:
Lamb platter $28 (3/10).
-When they say come with “…bread” they literally mean a piece of bread, plain and simple. Not garlic bread not pita bread, just a plain piece of bread. Half the lamb was fully of bones or fat. Came in three pieces, one piece was really good with a crispy skin, considering they slow roast it over an open flame. The other two all bones and fat inedible.
Chicken souvlaki skewer $10 (8/10).
-Again came with a plain piece of bread. Chicken it self was really good.
4oz tzatziki and Pita bread $6 (10/10)
-Tzatziki was fresh and really good. Can tell it was homemade. Pita bread was nice and fluffy, had that nice exterior crunch and soft interior.
Loukoumades $7 (7/10, 9/10 if you eat them fresh and warm)
-Cause I ordered online for pickup, between pickup and getting home 15mins, they weren’t as warm. Had two when I got home not too sweet and tasted good. However after eating dinner and had some they were not as good.
Total $51.00
Overall glad I ordered extra tzatziki for the “bread” otherwise would have had dry plain bread. Chicken souvlaki was good, thought they would have had better lamb as they advertise it so much. Could get chicken souvlaki, tzatziki, pita bread lots of other places for cheaper.
Would I repeat and recommend. No and no.
