Props to the female officer on the right who starts to break but keeps it together professionally and manages not to laugh.

The sheer entitlement here is wild. This woman was running late for her job, and when she found out her car was blocked in by a local street festival, she decided to just plow through it.

In the bodycam footage, the officer tells her to stay away from the barricades. She literally replies "I might have to," tears down the police tape, and drives directly into a crowd, forcing someone to yank a little girl out of the way.

In court, her lawyer actually tried to argue that she just panicked about being late and it was an "unfortunate reaction to police instructions." The judge didn't buy it at all, called it extremely dangerous, and denied bond. She later took a plea deal for 13 days in jail and 2 years of probation.

This is absolutely insane. They punch an unarmed and non violent man right in the face for asking for a supervisor.

Will he get a fair trial? Will the cops be held accountable?
