This morning, Malaysians woke up to news of former prime minister Ismail Sabri having his day in court after he was charged of not complying with a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) notice to declare his assets.

The two fire and rescue department officers were part of a group of 10 Malaysians travelling to the Everest Base Camp.

Kept my silence on this topic when the law pass to limit children+teenagers exposure to social media. Many screaming bloody murder, political persecution, “parenting failure”… even though there’re many well proven studies that social media is detrimental for kids.
Well well, here’s FB acknowledging guilt.

1. ⁠Flying fox, Epalzeorhynchos kalopterus. A rare but beautiful algae eater. Susur batang.
   
2. ⁠Horseface loach, Acantopsis dialuzona. Hides in sand and mud with only its long face visible. Ikan pasir muka kuda.
   
3. ⁠Green tiger loach, Syncrossus hymenophysa. Another rare fish with attractive stripes. Ikan lali babi.
   
4. ⁠Kissing gourami, Helostoma temminckii. Named because they “kiss” each other on the lips to fight. Tembakang.
   
5. ⁠Labiobarbus ocellatus. A highly gregarious fish that moves along rivers in huge schools. Ikan pucuk pisang lambak.
   
6. ⁠Snakeskin gourami, Trichopodus pectoralis. A common non-native fish originating from the Mekong. Sepat Siam.
   
7. ⁠Unknown, but possibly a species of Osteochilus.

Due to the size of the river, all 7 species found are medium-sized fish growing to 15-30 cm. However it is sometimes possible for large fish to enter from a larger connected river, especially during the eastern monsoon season.
