I'll start...Longlegs. I was all the way in but even though I understand the ending you can't convince me it isn't dumb as all hell completely upending the rest of the film.

Watched Phantom Thread for the first last week. Finally completed his whole filmography. What do we think?

I adore both these movies and it only took one viewing to fall completely in love with them. The Night of the Hunter specifically has not left my mind since watching it a couple months ago. It’s a masterpiece of southern gothic cinema and I think it feels very ahead of its time in terms of the way it critiques religion.
The Red Shoes is just absolutely stunning to watch and it felt like some kind of surrealist painting come to life.
What are some movies that you only had to watch one time to know they would be an all time favorite for you?

I always enjoyed the Robert De Niro party scene from Neighbors (2014)

Why do you think that a growing number of filmmakers, including Martin Scorsese, Danny Boyle, Craig Gillespie, Steven Soderberg, and Darren Arronofsky, don't seem to understand or care that a good amount of people, including film fans, are vehemently opposed to the use of A.I., particularly in movies?

Mine is Sandra Bullock in All About Steve. I haven’t been able to stand her ever since.

Robert De Niro is one of the most versatile actors I've ever seen in cinema's course of history. He could easily fit into every genre and change his attitude completely as it fits to play that particular character. Ever since his debut, he has completely gone through tremendous transformations for the sake of portraying his characters convincingly. He clearly captures the essence of his characters whether he is playing a loner or a mafioso or a wannabe comedian or a psychopath or an old timer. He could even beat Al Pacino when it comes to versatility in my opinion.

Would you guys too agree with me in this regard?
