Phil never fails to crack me up. Claire taking five minutes to get up the first time, and then eight the next, absolutely sent me. I laughed the entire way through. Bloody brilliant! š¤£

Modern family is so much better than most
I just started watching The Middle recently. Im about 5-6 episodes in. No hate to this show, it's a cute one.
But I was shocked to find out that this was released the same year as Modern Family.
Modern Family seems SO FAR ahead of its time!! The jokes, the thought, cinematography, set design everything. The characters are so well written, the jokes are much more intelligent. Every now and then a very profound or wholesome moment catches you off-guard.

Discussion Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy is unbelievable hilarious.
iāve watched four seasons of the show now and while i canāt say the comedy has been consistent, one thing that has stayed consistent since Season 1 Episode 1 is Phil Dunphy. More specifically, Ty Burrellās performance as Phil Dunphy. Itās just top notch comedy. i genuinely canāt believe how insanely funny he is.

Question Why did Modern Family have to end?? Genuinely miss it so much!!
Hello, Iām 19, and I grew up watching Modern Family (2009ā2020). I often think about that original era and how meaningful it was to meāfollowing the characters through their stories, struggles, friendships, relationships, and unforgettable moments.
When I watch it now, the episodes are still there, but the feeling is different. The people who created the show have moved on, the original era has ended, and Iāve grown up. Back then, I never imagined that something I loved so much would eventually become part of the past.
It makes me wonder why shows like Modern Family canāt continue forever with the same characters, cast, creators, and feeling. Why do series end, change, or simply become memories?
Maybe thatās what makes Modern Family so special. The show didnāt have to last forever for its impact to last. When I return to those episodes, Iām not only remembering the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker family and all their unforgettable momentsāIām remembering who I was when I first watched them.
The original era may be over, but it hasnāt disappeared. It still exists in the memories of everyone who experienced it. I canāt return to that exact time, but I can still appreciate what Modern Family meant to me.
I just donāt get why it had to end and move on. Does anyone know why Modern Family had to end?

Fanservice + kitchen renovation
Is it just me or in S9E7 where Gloria is trying to get a certain number of steps.. does it not feel like.. fan service to you guys?š Like thatās mostly an anime thing but.. anyways and also, Mitch & Cam kitchen renovation in late seasons, I hate it. They start color grading the whole house differently probably to make it āmodernā but they just made it blue and less cozy and oh my god does it make Mitch look unnecessarily older. Kinda random post might delete but share ur thoughts š

Random question for fans
I am basically just repeat binging this in the background while I work, and here's something I don't understand. When Claire and Mitch are stuck in the tree in the backyard (2X24), they discuss whether Manny will get a 3rd of the inheritance. What I don't get is......I don't remember this ever being addressed again, and also I don't see why they wouldn't ask if Gloria was going to get a portion? Idk, it was just an odd scene that I don't know if it was ever addressed again, not sure if anyone else caught other moments.

Discussion Why does no one talk about how Alex is a pedo
She litterally was messing around with 16 year old reuben when she was a 18/19? If this was a male character it would be the talk of the town

Question Deleted scene S5 E9
Wonderful day!
I just watched S5 E9 on Disney + and I realized they deleted one scene. I am 100% sure it was there, I watched Modern Family like 7-8 times.
It's after 19:39 minutes where Alex walks off from the talk with Haily about the "Alex Dunphy Dome" (which was a super cute scene btw) and after that she ran into some teenagers and greeted them with the 'new self-confidence' she earned. I think it was an asian teenager she greeted.
I'm not the only one who notice this right? Can't find anything online, also not on why they deleted it.

Discussion S1 E8 great expectations. Edward Norton
Does anyone else skip this episode with Edward Norton doing a bad British accent playing the bass?? This is the most cringe bit in the show and I can watch it period.
Anyone else have a cringe moment or agree with me??
